On June 26-28, 2009, the United States Pony Club’s (USPC) Capital Region held it’s regional show jumping rally at Loch Moy Farm in Adamstown, Maryland. Wakefield Valley PC sent one Qualifying team, The Big Kids, made up of Jessica (HA), Alyssa (HB), Cacie (C1) and Natalie (stable manager). The club sent 2 Non-qualifying teams. The Hot shots = Laney (D2), Morgan (C1), Rebecca (D3) and Olivia (D2). The Surefires = Natalie (D3), Niki (D3) scrambled with two riders from other clubs.  The club also sent Abby  to ride in the Rising Stars Division. The Big Kids took 2nd place in Horse Management(HM) and 3rd place overall. The Hotshots took 5th in HM and 6th overall. The Surefires took 1st in HM and 2nd overall.  In Equitation per each rider’s division, Morgan took 4th, Rebecca took 5th, Niki took 6th, Natalie took 4th, Laney took 2nd and Alyssa took 3rd. Abby took the most focused award. Natalie received the stable manager award as well as a certificate for 3 clean rounds. And for overall score of the day per all riders in all divisions, Natalie took the Reserve Champion award. Congratulations to all of our riders on a successful rally!

A huge CONGRATS! to Cacie and Jessica for their awesome riding at Champs.  Cacie's team took 3rd in HM and 1st overall, and Jessica was the only rider in the whole eastern half of the USA to have the nerve to compete in Horse IV. Great job girls, we're very proud of you both! There are some great pix of the event on the PC website...
