About Us

Wakefield Valley Pony Club, located in rural Carroll County, MD, is a growing club that is big on participation. WVPC sends teams to most rallies, and several members each year represent the region at National Championships.  Our regional responsibility each year is to host the region's Tetrathlon Rally.  

Our monthly meetings are held the 2nd Wednesday of every month. Please contact our DC for the meeting location.  We abide by both WVPC Club Policies and Capital Region Policies in addition to the By-Laws of the US Pony Club. 

We offer weekly lessons with Beth Pickett at Journey Well Farm in New Windsor. Occasionally we have visiting instructors. Unmounted horse management and veterinary knowledge lessons are included in our winter program. Clinics and camps are also offered by us or through the region.
